Two threads in a braided cord
Twisting, tangling around each other
Unraveling, meeting again in a faded accord
"Musubi"- the threads connected, the wind chimed
Knotted together, altered the fiery waves of time
Two weary travelers on the same road
Two souls on the same stream, the same boat
One trying to crawl out of the vines that dangle her
One trying to stop the spread of his black heather
They looked up and saw each other on the other side
The water around the boat found peace,
A less turbulent ride.
Time flew, their hands touched
Destinies intertwined,
Their sorrows declutched
He helped her out of the vines
She made him believe again in life
The morning shined!
The threads were twisted tight,
Either they will find peace
Or will die in their plights
"Musubi" - the knots of time,
The story of a neverending cycle,
The winds still chimed.
